As strange as this may sound when it comes to an MC romance, I have to say that Iced was a fun read. And mind you, I know MC series can be fun, but the ones I tend to be drawn to are a bit dark and while there are elements of the world that are dark, the relationship between Hannah and Ice is much more light in nature and I totally enjoyed the ride.
I really liked Hannah and Ice. Hannah is a little naive, a little impetuous but has a huge heart. Ice is just a really good guy who follows his gut and has no problem speaking his mind. Their journey to their HEA was a fun one, quick in many ways, but they still worked for me in every way that mattered and I just really liked watching them fall for each other.
This is my first read by the author and it was a fun one. The writing was engaging, pacing was good and I liked the dual POV’s. I also thought that she did a good job at taking “Frozen” and making it her own while tossing in those little pieces of what made the movie so fun (at least for those of us who watched and liked it). As for this chapter of the MC, there are quite a few of the members that I wouldn’t mind getting to know better, so I’ll be keeping my eyes open to see if that happens.
