***5 Stars***

Aaaand we’re back in the world of Inferno and lemme tell you, those boys ~ and even the girls ~ are in top form as they deal with each other, their families (mostly their fathers) and the craycray that can’t seem to leave them alone (not that I think they actually want to avoid the crazy). And it all kept me turning the pages and needing more of all the chaos when there were no more words to read (ESPECIALLY after that tease from Anger at the end).

As for Brinley and Shane. I freakin’ adored Brinley. Her upbringing was a bit different, and she does tend to try to not draw attention to herself (something that doesn’t always work in her favor) but she knows who she is and owns it. Shane. The need to Gibbs smack him was as strong as it was to pull him into a hug because the guy ~ for all of his ‘faults’ ~ he is loyal to anyone he considers his.

Their journey to their HEA is definitely a rocky one, but nothing is ever easy when one of the Inferno sets their sights on someone. I think what I actually liked about their journey was how Brinley kept Shane on his toes and by doing so, got to see behind the mask of Heresy. There was a lot of push/pull and they were definitely opposites, but they balanced each other out and in the end, I just really liked them together and am very happy that they found their way to each other.

I have to say, it was a lot of fun being back in the Inferno world. The craziness that they are all living in would drive anyone crazy, but they thrive on it and I enjoyed seeing how their various relationships have evolved from the first time we met them. As for the overall story arc, we got a ways to go before any sort of true resolution is met, but I do like how one of the side stories in this one was handled. I’m still all about Priest and crossing my toes he gets his own HEA one day, but I’m all in for Anger aka Damon’s book because that one is gonna be good!

Sixth Circle
Heresy
Also Known as Shane Carter

There are no rules with this man.
No courtesies.
No acceptable behaviors he’ll conform to in order to be accepted.

He marches to his own beat.
Gives the finger to expectations.
And does whatever pleases him because nobody can control him.

Arrogant.
Aggravating.
Absolute Chaos.
Shane is the last person you want walking into your world.

It’s too bad he walked into mine.
Now I can’t get rid of him.
Not that I’m sure I want to.

He wants something from me.
He’s playing a game.
And every time we come together, I can’t help feeling like I’m dancing with the Devil.

It all started with a chance meeting.
With the exchange of a few angry words.
And now that I’m trapped in this man’s maze, I fear I won’t be strong enough to resist being seduced.

*** Each novel in the series depicts a unique romance, but the plots through each book connect in one world. For the best experience, read the series in order.
Nine Ruthless Men. Nine Unrepentant Sinners. Nine Irresistible Manipulators.
