Title: Sweet Spot Author: Jessica Prince Series: Redemption
Contemporary Romance, Small Town Romance, Friends to Lovers
***5 ‘Bits & Viking’ Stars***
I’m sad that this is the finale for the Redemption series, but it was a great way to say good-bye (or at least hopefully a simple see you later with toes crossed that we’ll get updates at some point down the road) to a group of people, and small town, that I had a lot of fun getting to know.
As for Gage and Wynn, I adored both of them. Gage is all kinds of laid back protective alpha male goodness and Wynn is a firecracker of a woman full of moxie and heart. The fact that they were already best friends made it easy to see how they could be more. While the road to that realization wasn’t filled with a ton of angst or outside drama, it had its bumps in the road, but it was all kinds of fun to watch them finally open their eyes, and hearts, and take that leap to lovers on top of being friends.
I loved catching up with all the Redemption couples and people who’ve made it so much fun to read the series and it was quite nice that this was simply a fun friends to lovers read without a ton of angsty-ness. I loved Grandma Buttons to pieces and, as I said at the start, I hope we get updates on all the characters at some point in other series.

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That’s why God created central air, after all. Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy–she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says. In addition to being a wife and mom, she’s also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books–romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it’s a passion…there’s a difference. Not that she’d expect a boy to understand. Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.Facebook | Website | Twitter | Pinterest | Instagram | Amazon | Goodreads
