This baby put my heart through the wringer. All the ups and downs, good and bad, sweet and smexy. I mean, it had it all and then some and kept me turning the pages until the very end.
To say that I adored Boone and Lilly is an understatement, but in how I scale my feelings towards characters, adoration is the highest of the high…maybe one day I’ll come up with something above that..maybe. But these two are so sweet, so strong and just the kind of humans I’d want to be friends with. I thoroughly enjoyed watching as they became friends and then more. Their bantering was a lot of fun, I loved how open and honest they were with each other. They became each others safe place to land and greatest support system and I just really liked their flow when they were together.
From the description, this isn’t the easiest of reads, but the author did a great job with balancing out the more intense moments with fun and sweet ones. Aiden was amazing, Steven was good but broken man and Boone’s family was awesome. But, as always, I loved catching up with the Titan’s family and how they rallied around Boone and Lilly and Aiden and Steven. And I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book!
