Even though this is just the second book in the series, it was a lot of fun to be back at the Plain Daisy Ranch, and Willowbrook as a whole, and getting to catch up with the fun and crazy characters that inhabit it and see how Jude and Sadie FINALLY become more than just BFF’s.

I loved Jude and Sadie. Both are all about family and working hard. Jude is definitely the grumpy in the relationship, but I love how he softens just for Sadie and how she fully accepts his grump. Their journey to their HEA was fun, but frustrating. The eye’s are sore from all the eye rolling due to lack of communication. I totally get that they are BFF’s and that is a special relationship, but the whole “having a conversation with yourself in your head and coming to a decision for both of you” thing took a toll. Thankfully, with a little kick in the booty from family and friends they figure things out before it’s too late.

The small town vibe is alive and well and I loved catching up with Ben and Gillian and the rest of the cousins ~ Lottie and Romy were awesome! ~ and then there is Emmett. I get he’s the “baby” and all that, but the need to Gibb’s smack him is strong so I cannot wait to see him get brought to his knees!
