~**~ ARC Review: Ruined Castles (The Elite Kings Club #8) by Amo Jones ~**~

***5 ‘Madship’ Stars*** It’s going to come as no surprise to anyone that I devoured this baby in one go. Okay, it’s more or less a novella, but still. Devoured. And how couldn’t I? One. I love EKC  Two. Madship. I mean, how could I not want to know how they broke each other and themselves, took a “break” and finally got back together again? So basically putting it down wasn’t an option. And in the end, as much as I do love the drama and all the other chaos that surrounds EKC, I loved that it was totally paired down to Madison and Bishop and those “epiphany” moments that ended up making them stronger in the end. And while this is very, very Madship centric, there were a few moment added in that made me very happy. And while this isn’t a good-bye to this world, it was a very fitting finale to this generation of Kings. If you haven’t read The EKC series yet, I recommend that you do that first to get the full impact of what is served up here. And if you want to know where this falls in...

~**~ Release Blitz for Homecoming King by Penny Reid ~**~

Homecoming King, an all-new holiday romcom from New York Times bestselling author Penny Reid is now live! Rex “TW” McMurtry’s perpetual single-hood wouldn’t bother him so much if all his ex-girlfriends didn’t keep marrying the very next person they dated, especially when so many of those grooms are his closest friends. He may be a pro-football defensive end for the Chicago Squalls, but the press only wants to talk about how he’s always a groomsman and never a groom. Rex is sick of being the guy before the husband, and he’s most definitely sick of being the best man at all their weddings. Bartender Abigail McNerny is the gal-pal, the wing-woman, the she-BFF. She’s dated. Once. And once was more than enough. Privy to all the sad stories of her customers, ‘contentment over commitment’ is her motto, and Abby is convinced no one on earth could ever entice her into a romantic relationship . . . except that one guy she’s loved since preschool. The guy who just walked into her ...

~**~ ARC Review: Knocked Up By the Rockstar (Mile High Rocked #2) by Christina Hovland ~**~

***5 ‘Magnets’ Stars*** Oh Bax and Courtney. I was all set for full out war with these two…no joke, but instead I got a bit of angst, but a whole lot of heart and actual conversation…though that definitely came with a good dose of quirkiness in it’s own right…and simply fell a hell of a lot further in love with the Dimefront crew and those they call their own. Courtney and Bax. I adored Courtney. She’s got a good head on her shoulders, is sweet and snarky. She has her moments, but she’s just a good person who had her world shift sideways and is simply figuring it all out. Bax, I adored him, but he also drove me a bit batshitcrazy. He’s a good guy, but he hasn’t figured out what he really wants. He thinks he knows and goes hard to get it, but is blinded to the various pitfalls in just how he going about getting what he thinks he wants. Their journey to their HEA was a lot of fun. I’ll be the first to admit that I thought there would a whole lot more angst going on between Courtney and B...

~**~ ARC Review: Jock Romeo (Jock Hard #6) by Sara Ney ~**~

***5 Stars*** After meeting Roman at the end of Jock Reign and witnessing his reaction to Lilly, I was all in to find out just what would happen between the two of them and I was not disappointed. This was a quick, adorkably awkward, sweet read with lots of heart and two characters I totally fell into adoration with. So, yeah, ADORed Roman and Lilly. They are both good people with huge hearts and a good dose of confidence issues ~ for one reason or another. But what I liked about their journey was that Lilly was a bit more of the Alpha. Roman was by no means a doormat, but it was kind of nice to see the female take the lead. But even though there were awkward moments, they flowed really well together and just enjoyed being together. This was a fun addition to the series. Low on the angst, though there is some drama tossed in to the mix, but high on the heart and humor ~ Rome’s family is definitely one of a kind and I really enjoyed hanging out with Jack and Eliza and seeing how their o...
